Please choose a day and time that will fit your schedule for the school year.
Please do not arrive for your lesson more than 5 minutes early. If you do, please wait outside, especially if another student is finishing their lesson.

Piano and practicing
Practice is an essential aspect of success in learning music. Setting up regular practice time is necessary. Plan on 4-6 days of practice per week. The amount of time spent practicing varies depending on the student's age, ability, and length of the lesson. We can discuss your student’s specific practice plan. Each student has a Google doc that will guide practice sessions.
A piano is necessary for practice. Keyboards are acceptable only for new beginners. Students taking six months or more of lessons need a digital piano with 88 weighted keys and a damper pedal or an acoustic piano (upright or grand).
Discontinuing lessons
If you decide to leave the studio, please send an email or text message as notice.
Medical pause
If your student has a medical need to pause lessons, please let me know the situation. We can temporarily cease lessons and continue when your student is healthy and able.
Summary
By working together we can make music a passion in your student’s life. Family encouragement and involvement are essential to the success of your student.
